Set across Houston, Sweenshots Studios is a collection of three spaces — two studios and a house.

Two are in Midtown. Studio One, on Garrott Street, opens into a thousand square feet of natural light — a mock kitchen, a living area pared to its essentials, and a vanity kept for the hours before the camera. Studio Two, on West Alabama, is the quieter of the pair: high ceilings, light that lasts the day, and rooms left deliberately spare, waiting to be dressed to your direction.

The third is not a studio. The Studio House is a residence on Airport Boulevard — three bedrooms, two baths, a kitchen that cooks and a breakfast nook — finished room by room, so that nothing has to be staged.
